The Online Academy at ASD is currently enrolling middle and high school students.
The Online Academy at ASD is open to students anywhere in the United States and internationally. There is no geographic requirement to enroll.
Our core classes are synchronous (live) and have a maximum class size of 8. Since our ASL as a World Language courses are both synchronous and hybrid (with instruction both live and recorded), the size of these classes are decided after discussion with the partner school. We are attentive to ensure students receive individual attention and that classes are small enough to ensure our high quality of teaching.
At this time, the Online Academy offers core academic courses including Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and ASL to deaf and hard of hearing students. We offer ASL as a World Language to both deaf and hearing students.

The Online Academy is a program of the American School for the Deaf. Our program is available for deaf and hard of hearing students worldwide who are interested in online classes, tutoring, IEP goal support, and enrichment opportunities.
