Social Opportunities at the ASD Online Academy
The Online Academy recognizes the importance of social opportunities that enable students to engage with their peers. We also know that these experiences can also be meaningful and fun! We offer a variety of customizable enrichment programs and clubs that can be designed around students’ specific interests!
Sample Programs Offered
The costs for enrichment offerings and clubs vary between $150-$800 per student depending upon frequency and duration of the meetings.
A 10-week gathering of scientific minds discussing a variety of high level math, science and innovative thinking methodologies and how they apply to real world problem solving.
6-8 weeks of meetings for those who love to cook to review recipes, measurement and food safety, and experiment together making different weekly recipes.
A 6-week overview of protests through history with videos, guest speakers, and rich discussion. Students evaluate the impact of civic action and look holistically at complex situations.
The place to gather to read and talk about books! Students select a book with the teacher, read, discuss and when available, watch the movie and compare and contrast the difference between the two.
6 week
ACT Test Prep course provides an overview of the ACT, test taking tips and strategies, practice, review of common mistakes and more!
Course is provided in ASL with maximum class size of 8.
